حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّه

ِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفَقَةُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ يَحْتَسِبُهَا صَدَقَةٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'A man's spending on his family, when he intends it as worship, is charity.'
