English Translation

It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach them, when they went out to the cemeteries, to say: 'Peace be upon you, O people of these dwellings, from among the believers and the Muslims. We will — if Allah wills — be joining you. You have gone ahead of us and we will follow you, so we ask Allah for wellbeing for ourselves and for you.'
