حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ ص
َلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ مَنْ دَعَا لِلْجَمَلِ الْأَحْمَرِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا وَجَدْتَ إِنَّمَا بُنِيَتْ الْمَسَاجِدُ لِمَا بُنِيَتْ لَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ had finished the prayer when a man stood up and said: 'Who has found the red camel?' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'May you not find it! Mosques were built for what they were built for.'
