English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led Asr prayer, a man stood up to pray. Umar saw him and said: 'Sit down, for the People of the Book perished precisely because there was no break between their prayers.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Ibn al-Khattab has done well.'
