حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضُمُّ إِلَيْهِ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُمَا فَأَحِبَّهُمَا
English Translation
It was narrated from a man who saw the Prophet ﷺ gathering al-Hasan and al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) to himself and saying: 'O Allah, I love them, so love them.'
