English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'I saw the Prophet ﷺ pouring water over his head at al-Suqya, either from the heat or from thirst, while he was fasting. He then continued fasting until he reached Kadid, where he called for water and broke his fast, and the people broke their fast — and that was the year of the Conquest.'
