حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ نُذَيْرٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ أَخَذَ رَسُو
لُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي أَوْ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ الْإِزَارُ هَاهُنَا فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَهَاهُنَا فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ أَوْ لَا حَقَّ لِلْكَعْبَيْنِ فِي الْإِزَارِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of the muscle of his calf — or of Hudhayfa's calf — and said: 'The lower garment should be here. If you refuse, then here. If you still refuse, then the lower garment has no right to cover the anklebones,' or: 'the anklebones have no right to be covered by the lower garment.'
