حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ

سَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ يَشُوصُ فَاهُ قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قُلْتُ لِلْأَعْمَشِ بِالسِّوَاكِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to clean his mouth when he rose at night.' Ibn Numayr said he asked al-A'mash: 'With the toothstick?' He said: 'Yes.'
