English Translation

It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night. He began with al-Baqara and I thought he would bow at one hundred verses. Then he continued and I thought he would pray a full rak'ah with it. He continued, then began al-Nisa and recited it, then began Al Imran and recited it. He recited at an unhurried pace. When he passed a verse of glorification he would glorify, when he passed a request he would ask, and when he passed a seeking of refuge he would seek refuge. Then he bowed...'
