English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) through Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla that he said: 'I was with Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman in al-Mada'in when he asked for water. A village headman brought him a vessel and he threw it at him, aiming for his face, then said: "Had I not already warned him once or twice I would not have done this. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from drinking from vessels of gold and silver, and from wearing silk and brocade, and said: "It is for them in this world and for us in the Hereafter."" This is the last hadith of Hudhayfa.',
