English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I used to say about the children of polytheists that they were like their parents. Then a man told me about a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, so I met him and he narrated to me from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Their Lord knows best about them. He created them and He knows best what they would have done."'
