حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ عَنِ الْقَرْثَعِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ أَدْمَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا هَذِهِ الرَّكَعَاتُ الَّتِي أَرَاكَ قَدْ أَدْمَنْتَهَا قَالَ إِنَّ
أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ تُفْتَحُ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ فَلَا تُرْتَجُ حَتَّى يُصَلَّى الظُّهْرُ فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ لِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَقْرَأُ فِيهِنَّ كُلِّهِنَّ قَالَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَفِيهَا سَلَامٌ فَاصِلٌ قَالَ لَا

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was persistent in praying four rakats at the time of the sun's decline from its zenith. I said: O Messenger of Allah, what are these rakats that I see you are persistent in performing? He said: 'The gates of heaven are opened at the time of the sun's decline from its zenith and they do not close until Zuhr is prayed. I love that a good deed of mine ascends to Allah during that time.'
