حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ح

َدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَغْدُو يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ وَلَا يَأْكُلُ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr until he had eaten, and would not eat on the day of Eid al-Adha until he returned and ate from his sacrificial animal.
