‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يُونُسُ ‏ ‏قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏اللَّيْثُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏هِشَامٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عُرْوَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَائِشَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسِ سَجَدَاتٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُنَّ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform witr with five rak'ahs, not sitting between them until he sat at the fifth, then gave the salam.
