Hadith #182
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَر
ْجِسَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَيُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he was dying. Beside him was a bowl of water. He would dip his hand into the bowl, wipe his face with the water, and say: "O Allah, help me through the agonies of death."'
