حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ سَعْدٌ وَأُتِيَ بِجِنَا
زَتِهِ أَمَرَتْ بِهِ عَائِشَةُ أَنْ يُمَرَّ بِهِ عَلَيْهَا فَشُقَّ بِهِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَدَعَتْ لَهُ فَأُنْكِرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَتْ مَا أَسْرَعَ النَّاسَ إِلَى الْقَوْلِ مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ابْنِ بَيْضَاءَ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she ordered a funeral bier to be brought past her in the mosque. Some objected, and she said: 'How quickly people talk! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only performed the funeral prayer over Ibn Bayda in the mosque.'
