حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَصَالِحِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا أَ
مَرَتْ بِجِنَازَةِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَنْ يُمَرَّ بِهَا عَلَيْهَا فَمُرَّ بِهَا عَلَيْهَا فَبَلَغَهَا أَنْ قَدْ قِيلَ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ مَا أَسْرَعَ النَّاسَ إِلَى الْقَوْلِ وَاللَّهِ مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى سُهَيْلِ بْنِ بَيْضَاءَ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she ordered the funeral of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas to be brought past her, and when she heard criticism of this she said: 'How quickly people talk! By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only prayed over Suhayl ibn Bayda in the mosque.'
