Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ فِي أَيَّامِ مِنًى تَضْرِبَانِ بِدُفَّيْ
نِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُسَجًّى عَلَيْهِ بِثَوْبِهِ فَانْتَهَرَهُمَا فَكَشَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجْهَهُ فَقَالَ دَعْهُنَّ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on an Eid day, the Prophet ﷺ was covered with his garment and two girls were singing. Abu Bakr reprimanded them, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ uncovered his face and said: 'Leave them, Abu Bakr — these are days of celebration.'
