Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِن
ِينَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا وَلَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَاعِدًا فَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked about the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and she said: "He used to pray standing for a long part of the night, and for another long part while seated. When he recited while standing, he would bow while standing; and when he recited while sitting, he would bow while sitting."
