حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَا
لَ الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِعَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّمَا قَالَ الشَّهْرُ يَكُونُ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when it was said that the month has twenty-nine days and this was mentioned to her, she said: 'May Allah have mercy on Abu Abd al-Rahman. He only said that a month may be twenty-nine days.'
