حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الل
َّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا ابْنَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ فَسَارَّهَا فَبَكَتْ ثُمَّ سَارَّهَا فَضَحِكَتْ فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ أَمَّا حَيْثُ بَكَيْتُ فَإِنَّهُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَيِّتٌ فَبَكَيْتُ ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي أَوَّلُ أَهْلِهِ لُحُوقًا بِهِ فَضَحِكْتُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): 'when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, he called his daughter Fatimah and whispered to her, and she wept; then he whispered to her again, and she laughed. I asked her about that and she said: As for when I wept, it was because he informed me he was going to die, so I wept; then he informed me I would be the first of his family to follow him, so I laughed'
