حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَزِعًا يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَي
ْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدْ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذَا قَالَ وَحَلَّقَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ الْإِبْهَامِ وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا قَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today an opening has been made in the barrier of Gog and Magog like this" — and he formed a circle with his thumb and the finger next to it. Zaynab bint Jahsh said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will we perish even though there are righteous people among us?' He said: 'Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread.'"
