حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقّ
َاصٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ يَعْنِي يَسْتَغْنِي بِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He is not one of us who does not chant the Quran beautifully.' Waki' said: meaning to feel self-sufficient through it [i.e., recite it with a beautiful, melodious voice seeking no worldly gain].
