حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ تُلُقِّيَ بِالصِّبْيَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ وَإِنَّهُ
قَدِمَ مَرَّةً مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ فَسُبِقَ بِي إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِأَحَدِ ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ إِمَّا حَسَنٍ وَإِمَّا حُسَيْنٍ فَأَرْدَفَهُ خَلْفَهُ قَالَ فَدَخَلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى دَابَّةٍ

English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, 'Asim narrated to us, from Muwarriq al-'Ijli, from 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far (رضي الله عنهما), who said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, the children of his household would come out to meet him. He said: Once he returned from a journey, and I was brought to him first. He carried me in front of him. Then one of the two sons of Fatimah, either Hasan or Husayn, was brought, and he seated him behind him. So we entered Madinah, three of us on one riding animal.
