English Translation

Jarir narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would line up 'Abdullah, 'Ubaydullah, and Kathir from the sons of al-'Abbas, then he would say: 'Whoever reaches me first shall have such-and-such.' So they would race to him and fall on his back and chest, and he would kiss them and embrace them."
