English Translation

Ibn Abi 'Adi narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from 'Ikrimah, who said: "I said to Ibn 'Abbas: 'I prayed Dhuhr at al-Batha' behind a foolish old man who said twenty-two takbirs, saying the takbir when he prostrated and when he raised his head.' Ibn 'Abbas said: 'That is the prayer of Abu al-Qasim (عليه الصلاة والسلام).'"
