حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ وَقَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ إِذَا
نَزَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُرْآنٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَحْفَظَهُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ }

English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn Abi 'A'ishah said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr say: Ibn 'Abbas said: "When Quran was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ, he would try to memorize it. Allah (عز وجل) said: 'Do not move your tongue with it to hasten with it. Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation. So when We have recited it, follow its recitation' [75:16-18]."
