English Translation

Yahya narrated from Ibn Jurayj, Sa'id ibn al-Huwayrith narrated to me, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما): the Messenger of Allah ﷺ relieved himself, then ate and did not touch water (i.e., did not perform wudu — implying he ate without wudu after relieving himself, indicating the context was that he did not touch the food with his hand that needed washing, or the food did not require wudu).
