حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ بْنِ صُخَيْرٍ عَنْ عُ
بَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ أَرْضٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفٌّ مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ وَصَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Sufyan, from Abu Bakr ibn Abi al-Jahm ibn Sukhayr, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the fear prayer at Dhi Qarad, a land belonging to Banu Sulaym. The people lined up behind him in two rows — one row facing the enemy and one row behind him. He prayed one rak'ah with the row nearest to him, then this group moved back to the position of the other group and that group moved to the position of this group, and he prayed another rak'ah with them.
