حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ

عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرْتُ بِرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى وَبِالْوَتْرِ وَلَمْ يُكْتَبْ

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Isra'il, from Jabir, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I was commanded (to pray) the two rak'ahs of Duha and the witr, but they were not made obligatory (upon the ummah).'
