حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَمِسْعَرٌ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَدَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُغَيْلِمَةَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَلَى حُم
ُرَاتٍ لَنَا مِنْ جَمْعٍ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بِلَيْلٍ فَجَعَلَ يَلْطَحُ أَفْخَاذَنَا وَيَقُولُ أُبَيْنَى لَا تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَزَادَ سُفْيَانُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَا إِخَالُ أَحَدًا يَعْقِلُ يَرْمِي حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Sufyan and Mis'ar, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from al-Hasan al-'Urani, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us young boys of Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib ahead from Muzdalifah on our donkeys — Sufyan said: at night. He kept patting our thighs and saying: 'O my little ones, do not stone the Jamrah until the sun rises.' Sufyan added: Ibn 'Abbas said: 'I do not think any sensible person would stone (the Jamrah) until the sun rises.'
