حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُخَابِرُ وَلَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا حَتَّى زَعَمَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ ال
لَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْهُ قَالَ عَمْرٌو ذَكَرْتُهُ لِطَاوُسٍ فَقَالَ طَاوُسٌ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْنَحُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ الْأَرْضَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ لَهَا خَرَاجًا مَعْلُومًا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Waki' narrated from Sufyan, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, who said: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'We used to practice mukhabarah (sharecropping) and saw nothing wrong with it, until Rafi' ibn Khadij claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it.' 'Amr said: I mentioned it to Tawus, and Tawus said: Ibn 'Abbas said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only said: "For one of you to lend his land to his brother is better for him than to take a fixed rent for it."'
