ِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَاجْعَلُوهُ سَبْعَ أَذْرُعٍ وَمَنْ بَنَى بِنَاءً فَلْيَدْعَمْهُ حَائِطَ جَارِهِ

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Sufyan, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you disagree about (the width of) a road, make it seven cubits. And whoever builds a structure, let him support (the wall of) his neighbor.'
