English Translation
Waki' narrated from al-Mas'udi, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما): When the Prophet ﷺ departed from 'Arafah, some people rushed ahead. He said: 'Go at a moderate pace. Righteousness is not in urging the horses and camels to gallop.' He (Ibn 'Abbas) said: I did not see any (camel) raising its hand (i.e., running) until we reached Muzdalifah.
