حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ ذَكَرُوا النَّبِيذَ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي السِّقَاءِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ مِثْلَ لَيْلَةِ ال
ِاثْنَيْنِ فَيَشْرَبُهُ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثُّلَاثَاءِ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ سَقَاهُ الْخُدَّامَ أَوْ صَبَّهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَلَا أَحْسِبُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ وَيَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ سَقَاهُ الْخُدَّامَ أَوْ صَبَّهُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Yahya Abu 'Umar, who said: They mentioned nabidh in the presence of Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), and he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would have nabidh prepared for him in a waterskin. Shu'bah said: On a Monday night, and he would drink it on Monday and Tuesday until 'Asr. If anything remained, he would give it to the servants to drink or pour it out. Shu'bah said: I believe he also said: And on Wednesday until 'Asr. If anything remained, he would give it to the servants or pour it out.
