English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Tawus narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما): the Messenger of Allah ﷺ designated the miqat for the people of Madinah as Dhu al-Hulayfah, for the people of al-Sham as al-Juhfah, for the people of Najd as Qarn al-Manazil, and for the people of Yemen as Yalamlam. These are for them and for anyone who passes through them from other regions intending Hajj or 'Umrah. Whoever lives closer than these points enters ihram from where he sets out, even the people of Makkah enter ihram from Makkah.
