Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the mujath-thamah (animal tied and used as a target for killing), the jallalah (animal that feeds on filth), and drinking directly from the mouth of a waterskin.
