حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَمْسٌ كُلُّهُنَّ فَاسِقَةٌ يَقْتُلُهُنَّ الْمُحْرِمُ وَيُقْتَلْنَ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْفَأْرَةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْحَيَّ
ةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْغُرَابُ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَمْسٌ كُلُّهُنَّ فَاسِقَةٌ يَقْتُلُهُنَّ الْمُحْرِمُ وَيُقْتَلْنَ فِي الْحَرَمِ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
'Uthman ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Five are all vermin (fasiqah) that the pilgrim in ihram may kill, and they may be killed in the Sacred Precinct: the mouse, the scorpion, the snake, the vicious dog, and the crow." 'Uthman narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Husayn ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Five are all vermin that the pilgrim in ihram may kill and they may be killed in the Sacred Precinct" — a similar narration.
