حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فِي رَأْسِهِ مِنْ صُدَاعٍ كَانَ بِهِ أَوْ شَيْءٍ كَانَ بِهِ بِمَاءٍ يُقَالُ لَحْيُ جَمَلٍ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari narrated to us, Hisham — meaning Ibn Hassan — narrated to us, 'Ikrimah narrated to us, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had himself cupped while in a state of ihram on his head due to a headache he had — or some ailment — at a place called Lahy Jamal.
