حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّه
ِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَقْبَلْتُ وَقَدْ نَاهَزْتُ الْحُلُمَ أَسِيرُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي لِلنَّاسِ يَعْنِي حَتَّى صِرْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ نَزَلْتُ عَنْهَا فَرَتَعَتْ فَصَفَفْتُ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَرَاءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, the nephew of Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from his uncle who said: 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah ibn Mas'ud informed me that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) said: I came having nearly reached puberty, riding a she-donkey while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying at Mina without a wall before him. I passed in front of part of the row and dismounted, and I sent the she-donkey to graze and joined the row. No one objected to that.
