حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَدِّي هِشَامَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أ
َبِيهِ قَالَ بَعَثَ الْوَلِيدُ يَسْأَلُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ فَقَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَبَذِّلًا مُتَخَشِّعًا فَأَتَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَمَا يُصَلِّي فِي الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى

English Translation
Abu Sa'id narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Rabi'ah ibn Hisham ibn Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Kinanah narrated to us, he said: I heard my grandfather Hisham ibn Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah narrating from his father, who said: 'The Governor of Madinah sent me to Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) to ask him about the sunnah regarding the share of dhawil-arham. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The grandfather receives one-sixth. That is the last thing was conveyed from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
