حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاك

ٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا وَمِنْ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا

English Translation
Abu Sa'id narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, Simak narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, some poetry contains wisdom, and some eloquent speech is sorcery.'
