‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏سُرَيْجٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبَّادٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏حَجَّاجٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِيهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَدِّهِ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَتَبَ كِتَابًا بَيْنَ ‏ ‏الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ‏ ‏وَالْأَنْصَارِ ‏ ‏أَنْ يَعْقِلُوا مَعَاقِلَهُمْ وَأَنْ يَفْدُوا عَانِيَهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالْإِصْلَاحِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏سُرَيْجٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبَّادٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏حَجَّاجٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْحَكَمِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مِقْسَمٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏ ‏مِثْلَهُ ‏

English Translation

Surayj narrated to us, 'Abbad narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ wrote a document between the Muhajirun and the Ansar stating that they should pay blood money collectively and ransom their prisoners, doing good among themselves.
