Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطَعَ الْأَوْدِيَةَ وَجَاءَ بِهَدْيٍ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بُدٌّ مِنْ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَيَسْعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقِفَ بِعَرَفَةَ فَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ يَا أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ فَأَخِّرُوا طَوَافَكُمْ حَتَّى تَرْجِعُوا
English Translation
Surayj narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn al-Mu'ammal narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ crossed the valleys and came with a sacrificial animal, but he had no sacrificial animal for himself, so he participated in the sacrifice — seven people sharing one camel.
