حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَ
يْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْأَيِّمُ أَمْلَكُ بِأَمْرِهَا مِنْ وَلِيِّهَا وَالْبِكْرُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَصُمَاتُهَا إِقْرَارُهَا

English Translation
Abu Ahmad narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Mawhab narrated to us, he said Nafi' ibn Jubayr informed me, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: 'The matron (previously married woman) has more right over herself than her guardian, and the virgin is to be asked for her consent, and her consent is her silence.'
