حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ لَاحِقِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ
قَالَا قَالَ عُمَرُ مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مَتَى لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ قَالَا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هِيَ فِي الْعَشْرِ فِي سَبْعٍ يَمْضِينَ أَوْ سَبْعٍ يَبْقَيْنَ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, 'Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us, from Lahiq ibn Humayd and 'Ikrimah, they both said: 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) asked: 'Who knows when Laylat al-Qadr is?' They said: Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is in the last ten — in the ninth remaining, or the seventh remaining, or the fifth remaining.' 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) said: 'You are the most knowledgeable.'
