'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Prophet ﷺ combined Dhuhr and 'Asr, and Maghrib and 'Isha' in Madinah when there was neither fear nor rain. He was asked: Why did he do that? He said: So that his ummah would not be put in hardship.
