حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ الْجَزَرِيُّ أَنَّهُ
سَمِعَ مِقْسَمًا مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ فَدَعَا فِي نَوَاحِيهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ

English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, 'Uthman al-Jazari informed me that he heard Miqsam — the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas — narrating from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Prophet ﷺ entered the Ka'bah and found in it images, and he found the image of Ibrahim (عليه السلام) and Isma'il (عليه السلام) with divination arrows in their hands. He said: 'May Allah destroy them! By Allah, they knew that they never cast lots with arrows.' Then the Prophet ﷺ ordered the images to be obliterated.
