حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَي

ْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَدِيفُهُ أُسَامَةُ فَسَقَيْنَاهُ مِنْ هَذَا النَّبِيذِ يَعْنِي نَبِيذَ السِّقَايَةِ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ أَحْسَنْتُمْ هَكَذَا فَاصْنَعُوا

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us with Usamah riding behind him on the Day of 'Arafah. He gave us nabidh (date drink) in a waterskin, and we drank from it. Then he departed and began the descent.
