يهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb ibn Khalid narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Tawus narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Give the obligatory shares (of inheritance) to those who deserve them, and whatever remains goes to the closest male relative.'
